Piracy and the Holidays

Pirates don’t take time off for the Holidays, and neither do we.

Now, that bold statement creates a unique conundrum… how to keep up the fight without ruining our team’s sanity, social-life or family time? I’m not a big fan of companies that push their employees to sacrifice quality of life and have no interest in working for, or running one, that embraces that kind of policies.

Well, we’ve created a unique formula that allows us to keep up the battle 365 without driving anyone to the egg nog. Here it is:

  • Diversity – Our team (nine individuals if you’ve ever wondered) comes from a variety of backgrounds and traditions which means one person’s sacred time off is another person’s Thursday. We like each other, so we pick up the slack when others are busy getting their needed R &R.
  • Technology – Each member of the DMCA Force group has the ability and tools to access our secure network from anywhere. We like coming into the office (we have good coffee and witty banter) but we have the capacity to work from anywhere in the world. This makes Holiday travel a little bit easier and keeps the collaboration rolling.
  • Dedication – I have never worked with a group of more dedicated people. They put in the hours and go the extra mile because they care about what they do and display a work ethic that is unmatched in my experience over two decades and several industries. Our line of volunteers is always long and we reciprocate with flex time schedules, empowerment and trust.
  • Leadership – I don’t expect my team to do anything I won’t, so when the hard days come up, its our execs who clock on so the staff has the time they need to enjoy the holiday season.

So, with that in mind, feel free to get in touch over the long weekends. We’ll be here.

Happy Holidays from all of us to you and all the best in 2015.
